Cream Likes to Spoil November 12, 2008

Wow. It has been quite a while hasn’t it? 

I recall promising that I’d get back to posting regularly as soon as field hockey season was over. Now, I’m not sure if this was declared officially or if I kept that to myself. Regardless, I have betrayed that promise. There wasn’t anything really to update until today. You know, the usual day-to-day wanderings. Boring and a little depressing to reflect on.

But today, was a special day. Let’s see… we’re doing a cool project in french… I’m going to be in a science fair (?)… I lettered (!!!)… yeah, none of those are really that important. The reason today was so special is because today when I opened my email, I was shocked. I had another blog before I had this one, it hasn’t been checked, let alone updated in over a year. Well, someone… don’t know who they were, really, I have no idea, comments on one of my posts: “People should read this.”

So, I decide to read and see if it’s true. Turns out it was a little stream of consciousness (a strangely coherent one, I might add.) about middle school and all this malarkey that went down towards the end of it all. I guess some of the things are still relevant now and I just found it fascinating that a year ago when I should have been in a more superficial state of mind, I handled those problems and the others that loom ahead in a more levelheaded and mature way than I am now. I suppose this is a public apology to everyone for being so annoying and whiney about problems that only I can fix, or no one else for that matter.
